About
My background is in special education. I have been working with children, adolescents, and families as a school psychologist since 2004, and in private practice since 2014. I specialize in working with children and adolescents (10-16), and young adults (18-25) and treat adjustment disorders that are associated with low academic achievement and school stress (i.e., social anxiety, depression/low self-esteem, ADHD, executive dysfunction, learning disabilities, etc.). I have available hours between 3:00 pm & 6:00 pm on Tues., Weds., and Thurs. Call me for a personal consultation!
I conduct psycho-educational evaluations that help to diagnose disabilities which affect learning and social skills acquisition. Following a strengths-based philosophy, I use solution focused strategies to help children, adolescents, and young adults with academic challenges, learning disabilities, poor social skills, ADHD, stress, anxiety, and depression.
When a child struggles with school, and life, I know that parents struggle with knowing how to navigate "their world". I provide coaching so that parents learn effective ways to interact with their children and my comprehensive evaluations help to identify interventions and educational supports that are individualized and effective.
