Finding the right psychotherapist is challenging and can be a lengthy process. Once the search is completed and the therapy is under way, it will become rewarding and healing. My approach to psychotherapy is mindful, accepting and supportive. Being trained in individual, couple and family therapy, in complex trauma treatment, as well as clinical medicine and public health epidemiology, I provide treatment from an individualized integrative perspective, based on what is most beneficial to each person. My cultural and crosscultural experience allows me to factor in the cultural impact on human behavior.
Together we will navigate life challenges that are part of relationships, parent-child/teen conflicts, separation or divorce transitions, daily stress, complex trauma, chronic illness, or loss. My choices of therapeutic models are specific to depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, C-PTSD, BPD, eating disorders, DID, bipolarity, or personality disorders.
Complex trauma treatment modalities including EMDR, IFS and SE make our work targeted as well as supportive. CBT/DBT skills treatment follows four modules system. I am passionate about my work and respect the effort each person puts into their therapy journey of healing and self discovery. I am looking forward to hearing from you, when you are ready.
