Life’s circumstances and challenges can wear on our resiliency and ability to cope effectively. Our past can shape our current beliefs about the world and how we show up in it, even when those outdated beliefs may no longer serve us. Many clients who come to work with me often struggle with anxiety, self esteem, coping skills, relationship challenges, life transitions. I use different modalities to help clients explore emotions, gain understanding and self compassion, build courage, and learn & apply new skills to make desired changes. My goal is to help clients to create a more meaningful life aligned with their personal values.
My counseling style integrates elements of CBT, DBT and IFS. Through my warm and direct approach, I offer my clients a variety of tools and skills they can use to create a more rich and meaningful life, frequently providing handouts, and recommendations to books, apps, TED talks, and podcasts that would enhance their progress in between sessions.
My warm, compassionate and nonjudgmental approach typically allows people to feel at ease and they tend to open up with me quite easily. I am truly honored to be part of my clients’ journeys, and I hope to be able to support you through your own path to meaningful change and inner peace.
