Struggling with mental health and trying to find the right therapist can be difficult to manage alone. I strive to be fully present for my clients from the initial consultation to the last session we have. The clients I work with typically experience various types of anxiety, depression, substance use issues, or are simply struggling with difficult life transitions. I provide clients with the tools they need to help improve their lives and become the best version of themselves. The most important part of this process is to find the right therapist for you.
I tailor therapy to each individual client because therapy is not one-size-fits all. Each client brings a unique experience to sessions and I strive to provide the best and most effective services. Common modalities I use are CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness. I have a strong emphasis on the BIPOC community, LGBTQIA+ , veterans, and other marginalized populations.
Starting the mental health journey doesn’t have to be difficult and I am here every step of the way. Being raised in a BIPOC family, mental health was hardly a topic of conversation and I was taught to push emotions down and keep pushing forward. I not only listen to my clients and help them navigate, I also help them break the stigma of mental health.
