Angela's areas of specialization include trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, infants, toddlers and families. Angela received specialized post graduate training through Southwest Human Development's Harris Institute. This training provided an advanced level of expertise in the treatment of multiple forms of trauma. Angela has extensive experience working all populations and age ranges.
Angela utilizes a multi-modal theoretical approach that is tailored to each individual client, which may include CBT, DBT, Motivational interviewing, Person Centered, Therapeutic Play techniques, EMDR, and Attachment Based Trauma therapy. In addition, Angela has been administering assessments in order to formulate Functional Behavioral Assessment and Positive Behavioral Support plans. Evening/weekend appointments.
