Individual therapy: I am a licensed counselor and have been in the mental health field since 2002 & started my practice in 2007. My approach stems from a cognitive-behavioral model which dictates that a client is able to re-learn automatic belief systems as well as behavior patterns. I facilitate each counseling session from a person-centered approach, which considers the client to be the most important aspect of the counseling process. The choice to make changes is yours, however, it takes work!
Individual therapy: Depression, Anxiety, Communication, Conflict Resolution, Attachment, and Life transitions. I am currently accepting new clients through Blue Cross and also accept Private Payment clients. I am also a Collaborative Divorce Law "Neutral Mental Health Practitioner." I am a certified professional for Collaborative Divorce Law.
I stem primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral Approach, however, I adapt quickly to the style that is needed by each individual client. Some prefer a more directive approach while others prefer to take more initiative. Neutral Mental Health Practitioner: Facilitate Communication Skills, Conflict Resolution, Problem Solving, and Mediation.
