I understand trauma well, as I grew up in an alcoholic home. I experienced first hand “just trying to survive.” As a therapist, I help others understand the impact of alcoholism & addiction, how to find personal accountability, and ways to live more authentically. I have worked as a therapist in Los Angeles' Juvenile Hall and Seattle's Odessa Brown Children's Clinic. If you identify as a human who is in “survival mode” and wants and is ready to be in a state of living, then we can work together. I help my adult clients move beyond their own childhood traumas because I overcame my own childhood trauma of living with addicted parents.
Today, I have shifted my practice to working with individual adults. If you want and are ready to make the necessary changes in your life, I wish to help you build a healthy foundation for yourself, and help you face your past and current behaviors with integrity.
I provide therapy that is outside of the box of traditional cognitive-behavioral therapy.
I can assist you with developing positive actions and finding your inner spark to help you shift how you feel about yourself. I help you take an active role in your life, take the power out of the stories you tell yourself, and gain a realistic perspective of yourself.
