I’m a social worker and educator who works primarily with Trauma and PTSD. My personal and professional experience have provided me with additional insight to support neurodivergent and LGBTQIA2S+ folks. Many people meet barriers in EMDR or trauma therapy because the process needs to be adapted for different minds and identities. My therapeutic style is quite non-traditional, which can be refreshing for those who haven’t felt supported by the rigidity that is common within clinical practice. I hope to be a safe space for you to feel seen and supported while exploring opportunities for growth and change.
I have a passion for social justice, and my practice will always prioritize those who have been historically-excluded. I will assist you in dismantling societal norms that limit your ability to be free and unapologetically you, while helping you heal from the impacts of these harmful systems and build resilience for the future.
My work is collaborative in that I trust you to make decisions that are best for you, but I will also challenge you with insight, suggestions, and new techniques. Our goals often start with helping you make sense of the ways that you interact with the world around you based on your unique identities and experiences and develop from there based on your needs.
