At Maternal Minds, we work with women at every stage who may be struggling with infertility, miscarriage, grief and loss, pregnancy termination, past sexual abuse, body image, pregnancy and birth complications, adoptions, surrogacy, birth trauma, NICU babies, perinatal anxiety/depression/OCD/psychosis, breastfeeding issues, the transition to parenthood, fear of future births & more.

I have worked with the elderly, chronically ill, and terminally ill populations. My interest areas include those dealing with complex grief, dealing with life transitions, and coping and acceptance of chronic or terminal diseases, however, I am open to working with clients of various needs and backgrounds, to include the geriatric population and military veterans.

I am currently a MFT State Intern working at Maternal Minds Counseling. Have you ever felt stuck but didn't know which direction to go to move forward? Life can be difficult and stressful with lots of uncertainty. My goal is to help you find ways to feel unstuck and start moving forward. After experiencing a pregnancy loss and having a rainbow baby myself, I understand the pain, worries, excitement and sadness that comes with every step. I hope to be a support and guide for others going on their own journey of life.

My practice supports authentic living. I hope to join with persons and offer my understanding of where they are. Such genuine contact encourages awareness of possibilities that otherwise remain just out of reach. Relationship is central; foundations of healthy relationships include trust, respect, honesty and risk-taking. Persons I sit with commonly say I am supportive and challenging, non-judgmental and honest. Persons with previous therapy experience say that our play together is "different" than their other therapy relationships, perhaps because I fundamentally believe persons are good and have inherent power to grow and change.
