About
I have spent 10 years working with clients who struggle with mental health and/or addiction. Client "specialties" are as follows (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, personality disorders, mood disorders, trauma, substance use, parenting/attachment, ineffective communication, career counseling and relationship or family systems issues.
I utilize a client centered approach with motivational interviewing, CBT, CPT, DBT, mindfulness, relapse prevention, trigger awareness and coping skills to assist my clients with learning how to manage their symptoms.
I value my skills and ability to provide a collaborative, warm and non-judgmental space for my clients. I have extensive experience in working with women, trauma, severe mental health and addiction. I believe in the power of the human spirit and it's resiliency and I'm honored to be considered as a therapist for you.
