Sierra is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who received her Masters of Social Work from Simmons University in 2021. She worked for 4 years as a behavioral health provider at a community health center serving uninsured and vulnerable patient populations.
Sierra provided mental health services for a wide range of clients in the primary care setting, including asylum seekers in the health center’s refugee program as well as gender diverse patients in the gender-affirming care program. Her experience influences her clinical work to be nonjudgmental, culturally humble, and trauma-informed.
