About
As the founder of Santa Barbara Ecotherapy, I recognize that "therapy as usual" doesn't work for everyone. Perhaps you've said, "Nature is my therapy." AND, you need something more. Something like real therapy, in nature. Nature therapy. Welcome! You found it. Let's get to work on self-mastery, insight and clarity, self-honoring choices, healthy boundaries infused with compassion, active inner wisdom, and engagement with Wisdom greater than ourselves to get you the life you desire. Yes, you, too, can move through the world well-rooted yet free-flowing, safe in your right to create a thriving, purposeful life.
I'm a clinical ecotherapist: psychotherapy + nature connection, informed by permaculture. Nature is my co-therapist. As a naturalist, I help people re-envision issues of aging & major life transitions; live anti-racism and feminism; process ecogrief; and embrace the spiritual aspects of self, deepening the humus of soul for resiliency and inner richness.
COVID gave us a long, hard look at what’s working/not working in our lives. Are you still trying to get oriented? Have a map, but can't find the trail? I got you. Unsure if we are a good fit? Schedule a 15 minute consult. Whatever stage of growth you're in, it's the soil that feeds the roots. If you're ready to dig in and do the work, let's get started!
