I am a Master’s degree prepared Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with experience in the areas of psychiatry, renal disease, long term care and child welfare. Beyond my clinical role as a therapist, I have a passion for promoting the safety, stability and wellbeing of people, which helps me approach mental health holistically. I have experience with CBT, DBT, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe we are all resilient and have innate abilities to heal and thrive by discovering triggers/traumas, building on strengths and developing healthy coping skills to find balance and lead healthy lives.
I believe in work life balance and I’m an advocate of self care. I am a Christian, worshipper and enjoy singing gospel music, working out, traveling, spending time with family, and advocating for others. These experiences have allowed me to be open minded and well rounded in working with people of diverse backgrounds and serving my community.
