I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and bring 20 years of experience to my work with adolescents and adults. I believe in the importance of honoring past survival strategies that have brought you this far in your journey and hope to collaborate and explore new ways to navigate life’s challenges.
My approach is warm, gentle, and collaborative. I practice from an anti-racist, trauma informed lens drawing from a variety of theoretical approaches including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strengths-based and person- centered therapies. My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, trauma, racial identity and relationship concerns.
I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where your vulnerability and humanity are always treated with the highest regard and respect. Together, we will draw from your existing strengths and develop new, practical coping strategies that will help you to experience life as your most authentic self.
