It can be scary to ask for help or to even acknowledge that help is needed, but that's what I am here for. To walk with you on your journey to overall wellness. My name is Shy Camp and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who's dedicated to providing exceptional services to children, teens and families. I offer both in person and telehealth services utilizing a holistic approach. I strive to provide an environment that feels like a safe space for clients to be themselves and express themselves freely.
I have experience working in fast pace, crisis intervention, foster care and developmental services. I have a passion for assisting clients with creating a toolbox of skills to help them manage life stressors. I emphasize Person-Centered, Adlerian and Cognitive Behavioral approaches.
As a member of the BIPOC community I provide multicultural services and continue to educate myself on diversity and client needs. I am dedicating my career to helping clients love and embrace themselves. Where you are now doesn't define your journey. Together, we will put our best foot forward and conquer this journey.
