My practice involves treatment for adults using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and EMDR with mindfulness-based techniques that employ body and mind approach based on each client's specific needs. The counseling process is a journey to gain awareness, to restore sufficient inner strengths, and to heal the pains, enabling one to make desired changes for life. I apply stress reducing and relaxing skills to assist you gaining your own valuable awareness of circumstance, strengthening your capacity to restore your inner resources toward the concrete steps you can take to make positive changes.
My clinical training and experience include: EMDR, anxiety and depression, stress/pain management, trauma, grief and loss, crisis intervention, international student's and immigrant's life transition adaptation issues, selective mutism, attention difficulty, child behavioral challenges, child-parent relationships.
I am fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese.
