About
Empathic guidance towards growth and change. I am a compassionate and skilled psychologist specializing in child and family therapy, trauma recovery and infertility, voted one of Best Child Therapists by Mainline Parent Magazine in 2016. Together we will address your struggles as an individual or as a parent, building on your strengths, improving your understanding, and discovering better ways to cope. I am able to connect with you and/or your child through talking, as well as using play or art therapy strategies. Together, we peel back the layers of thoughts and feelings, and identify ways to explore, cope, communicate, and heal.
The children, families and adults I work with often have issues of depression or anxiety, trauma (including sexual assault and abuse), or the challenges of family transitions. I also support those dealing with infertility through individual and group therapies. Struggling to conceive can be an overwhelming and isolating experience. I would like to help.
I believe in finding together what works best for each client. I am skilled in a variety of approaches: cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and systems or relational therapies as well as art and play strategies. I consider it a privilege to bear witness to and help guide you through healing and growth in your journey.
