My goal is to create an environment that is safe to heal. One that each person can speak freely without fear of judgement or ridicule.I confront the core issues with warmth so that we can tackle each problem one-by-one. I can work with individuals, children, adolescents, couples or families. I am referred to as a "family therapist" because I work with one person or many at the same time. Sessions are tailored to the client needs and goals. Talk therapy is not for everyone and if someone has difficulty expressing themselves we can use other modalities.
I have a wide range of specialities from depression, anxiety, trauma, sexuality, health concerns, family or relationship issues, career coaching, self esteem, addiction and adjustment issues. I also have training in grief counseling and in play therapy for children. For couples: Emotional Focused Therapy and in Imago Therapy.
My practice is valuable because each and every day, I witness people heal and live better lives due to their experiences an growth here.
