Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
My focus in psychotherapy is to provide a safe place for you to explore your inner self and build on your internal strengths. I guide you to embrace life challenges as opportunities for growth. I believe that the answers lie within. Through counseling you to seek your truth, I hold the relationship as a source of healing and empowerment. If you are motivated to change the patterns that keep you stuck, I will help guide you on your journey to wellness. I work with individuals, couples, families and groups.
I have specialized in working with compulsive overeating, bulimia, anorexia, body image issues and compulsive exercise for over 15 years. I view the eating disordered behavior as a symptom of underlying issues. We explore together to unravel the layers and help the healing to occur from the inside out.
I treat every person who walks through my door as an individual with unique needs. I would describe my approach as eclectic.
