About
Please join me in the journey of spiritual and emotional growth that is offered in a comfortable environment, with an open mind, and a non-judgmental manner. The purpose of counseling is to help you cope with the challenges of daily living, achieve a fulfilling social, economic, emotional or physical quality of life, encourage self-sufficiency, and above all, to strengthen individuals, families and communities.
The helping and healing process I choose to use is Trauma Informed Care and Approach. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). CBT explores past experiences, behaviors, thoughts and actions. CBT utilizes a variety of behavioral techniques and spiritual practices. I recognize the importance of an individual's spirituality in the healing process.
My purpose as a therapist is to provide spiritual, emotional and educational support to you, the client. I believe each person has an individual uniqueness; therefore, each person who enters into a counseling relationship with me is treated with respect and dignity. Looking forward to meeting and working with you!
