“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” —Viktor Frankl. Suffering comes in many forms. Mainly, I believe it comes from how we relate to ourselves and to others. I hope to help you develop tools and insight to manage challenges and stressors to help you learn how to suffer less. My goal is to get to know the essence of who you are and understand how your life and experiences have brought you to this moment.
I would like to help you make sense of what is happening and help you develop tools to help you move forward resiliently. I provide a space that is safe, supportive, and attuned. I strive to help you know yourself better and to access, or return to, your best self.
Taking the first step is often the hardest. Sometimes all it takes is having a safe and comforting space to begin your journey. As a therapist, I meet you where you are, and use a variety of approaches to help you get to where you want to go. I currently have openings on Tuesdays in Burlingame. I invite you to call me for a free phone consultation.
