Therapy is collaborative, exploratory, and an undoubtedly human experience. I am especially passionate about helping individuals of all ages navigate grief and loss, rewrite trauma-driven narratives, and move toward their most authentic selves.
I also feel deeply connected to my work with teens (ages 12+). Adolescence is a dynamic and complex stage of life, and I view it as a privilege to support young people as they explore their identities and navigate the many facets of being.
Outside of private pracitice, I work with a community mental health clinic in Reno and a teen-focused non-profit in the North Tahoe/Truckee area.
In a previous life I was an outdoor guide & environmental educator for youth. These experiences continue to influence my work, as I strive to stay curious, and connected to the world around us. I love climbing, hiking, and being in nature, which ultimately helps shape the way I practice.
My approach is rooted in a humanistic, client-centered perspective. Drawing from practices like Acceptance and Commitment, Mindfulness Based, Somatic and Internal Family Systems, I'll always tailor our work to what feels most helpful for you.
