Through my own counseling journey, I have learned just how important the therapeutic relationship is. The relationship I have with each client is unique, authentic, and sacred to me. I approach counseling with care, curiosity, presence, and a bit of humor. Our work together is not about fixing you. It is about understanding the internal patterns that once helped you survive/function. Instead of pushing these parts of you away, we will gently explore how they strive, protect, over-function, and carry the burden of past and present wounds. Through compassion and curiosity, we will create a space for something more sustainable.
I have a heart for working with young adults who are navigating life transitions. I also have a special interest in working with counselors and counseling students who are interested in learning more about IFS by doing their own work. Oh, and I am pursuing certification in IFS which means you get to benefit from my continued trainings and supervision!
I work with individuals who have experienced trauma, both past and present, Big T and little t. It doesn’t matter what happened, how insignificant it may feel, how unspeakable, or how difficult it is to sit with. It all matters and it is all healable.
