Searching for a counselor indicates the first step toward your healing journey. It means that despite what you are currently experiencing; you are embracing the courage and willingness to create change. I enjoy working with adults 18+. You may feel as if the weight of the world is on your shoulders. Whether you are experiencing the affects of trauma, sadness, concerns with suicide, loss, relationship or family concerns, or navigating school or work, I would like to help. I understand that listening and providing a safe space without judgment are essential.
I have training and experience working with survivors of domestic violence, trauma, and suicide. I worked in suicide prevention for the last seven years and have developed a passion for supporting people who may have thoughts of suicide, previous attempts, loss, have a family history, or want to support a loved one. You do not have to experience life alone.
Whether you decide to contact me or not, I hope you acknowledge your ability to change the narrative in your story. I give space for clients to bring all of themselves, including their culture and sexuality.
