Aging with grace is not always an easy task. There are decisions to be made about retirement, finances, where to live, accessibility, health and family. There are losses of people we love. Our health declines naturally with age and there can be chronic illnesses to cope with. People who are aging may need support in adjusting to changes in physical and mental health if it appears to be interfering with daily life.
I've worked with the aging and adults with disabilities throughout my career in various roles to include occupational therapist, medical social worker and psychotherapist. I've been doing counseling specifically with this population for the past 3 years via telehealth. I also have the ability to do family therapy sessions as needed.
