Sheryl Boyle is an EMDR Certified Therapist, a Brainspotting Certified Therapist and Consultant, a Clinical Hypnotist, and a Prenatal and Perinatal Educator. She understands how early childhood experiences, attachment wounds, and generational trauma are often the root cause of the symptoms of addiction, anxiety, depression, dissociative disorders, and other mental health issues. Using an integrative therapeutic approach based on the clients’ needs, she teaches healthier coping skills and boundaries. This typically helps clients decrease and manage their symptoms while improving their day-to-day functioning.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then complete an assessment that helps show how your body's system has adapted from previous trauma. These traumas are often stored in our bodies until we are ready to heal and release them. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with a diverse clientele, I’ve observed how trauma can manifest through various forms of abuse linked to differences in gender, religion, culture, ethnicity, and belief systems. In doing so, we come to embrace our uniqueness, and acknowledge respect, and support the uniqueness in others too.
