About
Seeking counseling can be difficult. It can be hard to ask for help, especially when you don't specifically know why you need assistance. If you're reading this profile, you have already taken the first step towards getting help and I commend you for making this important decision. I would like the opportunity to help you learn how to work through obstacles, significantly change negative behaviors and thought processes, and achieve successful outcomes.
My therapeutic-style is a combination of cognitive-behavioral and person-centered therapy. However, I work with clients to develop a personalized treatment plan that focuses on their individual needs. I am passionate about working with individuals and families who want to improve their lives by working on issues they are experiencing with one another.
I have worked at a juvenile detention center and women crisis centers, so I am experienced with working with adolescents and families. I am also a certified anger-resolution therapist and can help you learn anger management techniques you can use daily. Let me help you take the next step towards beginning the healing process.
