I work with women, men, and couples carrying more than anyone can see, and who are ready for an honest conversation about what is happening and what they want to change. I hold a doctorate in psychology and two clinical licenses, and I have spent twenty-five years in private practice and eighteen years teaching group therapy at Pepperdine.
My approach is relational, direct, and engaged. I ask questions, notice patterns, and pay attention to what happens between people, whether I am working with an individual, a couple, or a group. I help you understand what keeps repeating and connect insight to change, with attention to your relationships, strengths, and what you want different in your life.
There is usually a moment when we know. A relationship feels different. We are more tired than we used to be, or less ourselves. We keep doing what we have always done, and it has stopped working. Truth be told...being an Associate can leave you with many unanswered questions and feeling alone, even when practicing with others. This free online group is open for Associates to meet and discuss client cases with a diverse group of clinicians in a supportive setting. Important Note: Your supervisor has the final say for your client’s treatment, we are just sharing ideas in this group.
