Life transitions can be difficult. I help clients identify inner strengths and values so that they can experience growth after crisis, loss, or medical illness. My approach to therapy is grounded in helping clients develop healthy, supportive relationships. I use a creative and flexible mix of psychotherapy interventions integrating mind-body approaches such as hypnosis along with cognitive based tools such as cognitive reframing, journal writing, and explorations of relationship patterns using communication analysis. My background includes many years of experience working in hospitals, I have special expertise in working with
clients with depression or anxiety impacted by medical illness. I have also worked in private practice primarily focused on helping clients with relationship and work stressors. My clinical work is strengthened by the wisdom I have gained in my diverse work settings. I realize the first steps toward seeking therapy can seem complicated.
I welcome an initial phone call so that I can learn more about your goals and provide further information to help simplify your journey.
