Hello, my name is Sherman Robinson, and I go by JR. I am a Clinical Social Work Intern and Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUD-P) dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward greater emotional health and well-being. I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals affected by substance use and related challenges. My professional experience has provided me with a strong understanding of the complex and unique experiences associated with substance use, recovery, and the process of creating meaningful and sustainable change.
My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect for each client’s unique experiences. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore current and past concerns, build effective coping skills, strengthen self-esteem and resilience, and work toward meaningful personal goals and overall well-being.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process that supports greater self-awareness, personal growth, and lasting change. My goal is to help clients develop the insight, skills, and confidence needed to navigate life’s challenges and move toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
