In our process, as you work towards sharing whatever is on your mind, we listen, think, and feel together, paying attention to patterns that may echo your past and our broader sociopolitical context. We explore what's difficult to think or feel through on your own. This can lead to deepened self-understanding, more curiosity, and new ways of relating with your internal and external worlds. This work can help you feel more spontaneous, more connected to yourself, to others, to your desires and fears, and can lead to new possibilities for intentional choices.
I especially enjoy working with clients looking to address life transitions, grief, relationship issues, depression, and questions around identity, and I often work with college and graduate students, recent grads, artists, and older adults. I offer the option to meet multiple times per week for more intensive psychoanalytic work if appropriate.
I work with people who live in PA, MA & VT. I completed training in interpersonal psychoanalytic psychotherapy at The William Alanson White Institute, and am currently studying Modern psychoanalytic group process at the Center for Group Studies in NY.
