In our process, we explore what's difficult to be with on your own. Working towards sharing whatever is on your mind, we listen, think, and feel together, paying attention to patterns and emotions that may echo your past and our broader sociopolitical context. Exploring together what’s been difficult to think or feel through on your own can lead to some relief over time. Your patterns might show up in the therapy room, and we can work together to make sense of your unique experience—what it’s like to be you and be with you, with your specific relational background, shaped by the world and systems around us.
I tend to work with people addressing life transitions, relationship issues, shame, depression, grief, moods they don’t understand, and questions around identity. I often work with college and grad students, recent grads, artists, and older adults. I offer the option to meet multiple times per week for more intensive psychoanalytic work if appropriate.
I work with people living in PA, MA, & VT. I completed training in interpersonal psychoanalytic psychotherapy at The William Alanson White Institute, and am studying Modern psychoanalytic group process at the Center for Group Studies.
