There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you. - Maya Angelou.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Denver. I assist clients in developing insight and self-awareness so they may make more informed choices rather than perpetuating old patterns and habits. My work tends to focus on healing from the past, increasing coping skills & building on existing strengths to move in a new direction and create change. I bring 26 years of experience, knowledge, skills, humor, and empathy to my work with clients. I have extensive experience working with victims of trauma going through the justice system
My expertise includes working extensively with victims of violence and trauma, sexual abuse, interpersonal violence, adolescents, family members of victims of homicide, suicide, or traumatic death, and parents of sexually abused kids. I often see clients struggling with relationship issues, life transitions, depression, anxiety, or PTSD. I practice EMDR.
I would be honored to be a part of your healing process. I am awed by the courage it takes to address psychological challenges that involve trauma. Change can feel overwhelming, but it is obtainable and you don't need to do it by yourself. Please call me or visit my website for more information.
