I am Intensively Trained in DBT through the Marsha Linehan Institute out of University of Washington Seattle and have specialized in the adherent model of DBT since 2006. I help people create the person they want to be and the life they want to live. Therapy is both art and science. The process of psychotherapy involves creativity, skillfulness, evidence-based techniques and a collaborative alliance between therapist and client. I see adults of all ages who need help with problems ranging from severe emotional turmoil to working on taking their personal growth to a higher level. My clients are highly motivated!

Groups
DBT Skills Training
Skills Training Group for persons with severe anxiety, impulse control problems, mood swings, difficulty coping with daily stresses, and difficulty managing extreme emotional distress. Uses skill modules of Core Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. This is a structured format with a curriculum in a very supportive environment. Maximum 9 participants. It is well-suited for those with the above issues as well as for those who meet criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder and/or traits and features of BPD. I am Intensively Trained in DBT through Marsha Linehan's Training Institute in Seattle, WA.
