Sheri Gibson
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW
Change is possible. Hope is there. I have been working with individuals, families and couples since 1988 and went into private practice in 2000. I have worked in a variety of settings using a variety of therapeutic techniques. I have found that anybody can be helped regardless of the severity of their problems.
Each client is different thus needing different interventions from their therapist. I believe psycho-dynamic/psychoanalytic work is what results in lasting change. I will incorporate other modalities as needed or requested such as EMDR for Trauma related disorders.
I believe strongly in self-determination and privacy. I am not easily overwhelmed by difficult symptoms or people. In addition to almost 25 years of experience and post graduate training I continue to pursue learning all I can to ensure I am the best therapist I am capable of being.
