I see clients ages 6 through older adulthood and specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, such as those who are autistic or have ADHD and need help with executive functioning skills. As a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), I have an interest in working with autistic folks transitioning into young adulthood who are navigating increased independence. AdditionaIly, I am experienced in helping people struggling with anxiety or depression.
I am also a certified perinatal mental health counselor (PMHC) who is passionate about working with those struggling with postpartum depression or anxiety.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Based, and Solution Focused approaches. This means we will focus on learning new coping skills to address stress and anxiety. I help individuals learn how to address situations in a way that allows them to move forward in life, rather than feel stuck in familiar patterns. I also use Motivational Interviewing.
Clients of all ages thrive when they are seen and heard. They grow when they are provided a safe space to explore their past, present, and goals for the future. My work with children, adolescents, and adults provide them with creative and concrete resources and strategies to learn how to get through future challenges.
