I enjoy working with people. At times we all think about a past mistake, a missed opportunity, or an undesirable choice. But if you are constantly looking back with a nagging and paralyzing sense of regret, you may not be able to see or enjoy what is good about your life today. If you have experienced trauma and feel stuck, whether it occurred recently or a long time ago, there is a way forward although you may not see the steps through which to change your life for the better.
I have experience working with people who feel stuck, are making difficult life transitions, or are having difficulty with feeling anxious or sad. I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma, whether it is recent or long ago. I have worked with domestic and sexual violence survivors for many years.
I am trauma centered and client focused, and draw on various approaches according to the problem being treated and what best fits your situation.
