I am a Certified Grief Educator , trained by David Kessler. I have completed Levels 1-3 of Gottman Training for couples. I practice eclectic therapy styles. My trauma therapy techniques include EMDR and Brainspotting. I have received training in Internal Family Systems (IFS). I have been in practice since 2009. I love what I do so I am a big believer in continuous trainings that will make me the best that I can be.
My focus includes depression, anxiety and grief for which I use Brainspotting, EMDR, IFS and CBT interventions. I am Gottman trained for couples work and am also a Prepare/Enrich pre-marital counselor. Additionally I have taken continuing education in Internal Family Systems.
I believe in giving back to the community so have been the Board Chair and volunteer of a non-profit, Retrieving Independence. I work with incarcerated inmates therapeutically with RI while we train inmates to be professional svc dog trainers.
