Welcome, and thank you for being here. Maybe this is the first time you’re considering therapy or maybe it’s one attempt of many. Either way you’ve already taken a brave first step on the path and I’m glad you’re here. When we search for the answers to what’s troubling us, we often realize we’re not even asking the right question. It’s not always “How can I help you?” and it may not even be “How can you help yourself?” The truth is, I don’t know the right question, just like I don’t pretend to know the answer. Maybe we’ll find something closer to both, together.
I take a trauma-informed, collaborative approach to therapy built on trust, empowerment, and curiosity. You are the expert to your own life. You decide where we go. My role isn’t to “fix” you, it’s to help guide you in uncovering the patterns that may be holding you back.
I’ll do more than just listen while you vent. I’ll sit with you while you do the work. I’ll help you understand why you feel stuck, and offer more than just coping skills. My style is compassionate but honest, and I’ll be with you every step of the way. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to start.
