The most important part of therapy is the relationship between the therapist and client. I am compassionate and understanding. I give feedback where it is appropriate and even use a little humor. My goal is to help you feel comfortable enough to work on the real issues.
My approach to therapy is practical and based on changing the negative thinking patterns that keep the client from making positive changes in his/her life. I am flexible and creative in treatment.
My strengths include the treatment of depression, anxiety, aging issues, life transitions, chronic pain or chronic health issues.
My goal is to help my clients find the skills and tools that will work best for their individual needs. The change in negative behavior patterns begins with a change in ones's thinking process.
There are many situations in which we don't have control. What one does have control over is his/her own response to the situation.
