My clinical work is best described as integrative. Built upon a foundation of cultural humility, I draw from interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic approaches. I am an active therapist who works collaboratively with clients to set goals; identify thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that contribute to clients' struggles; identify and practice new ways of dealing with concerns; and assess progress being made.
As a generalist, I work with a wide range of client concerns and identities. I also specialize in treating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, workplace challenges, and trauma and in working with LGBT/Queer/Trans and Gender Diverse clients, and health/mental health care professionals,
I know that therapy can feel vulnerable and that it is important to find a therapist who is the best fit for you. Contact me to schedule a free 15-minute call to discuss your therapy needs and to answer your questions. I would recommend checking with your insurance prior to this call to confirm that your insurance will cover working with me.
