I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with a heart for the lost and hurting. I specialize in helping Adolescents, Adults and their families navigate the challenges of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, panic disorder, family stress, overwhelming academic pressures, low self-esteem, racial, sexuality, and gender issues (LGBTQ+). I help people of all ages take charge of their mental health symptoms and navigate the challenges of life. I help people find their way back to happy, guide them in healing their broken hearts, and above all honor who my clients are and the abilities they have, to live the lives they desire.
I utilize a strength based and trauma informed approach to assist my clients in reaching their therapeutic goals. We will collaborate to develop an effective treatment plan designed to improve quality of life, productivity, functioning and alleviate symptoms. Key interventions utilized include: CBT, SFBT, TFCBT, DBT & Christian Counseling.
I believe I was called to do this work and I consider it a privilege to come along side my clients in their pursuit of emotional well-being. Research shows that the therapeutic alliance is the most important element in successful treatment and as such I work hard to build a relationship based on trust, respect and support.
