I'm Shelly, an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist working with kids, adults and couples. My clinical focus includes helping clients process traumatic experiences and learning new ways to cope with stress/anxiety, depression and relational conflicts. I have a deep passion for supporting women navigating complex trauma and racial identity, as well as supporting highly sensitive and neurodivergent individuals through personal and relational hurdles. Trauma often moves us away from our intuition and pushes us to self doubt. My goal is to help you tap into your inner wisdom and find your resiliency in the midst of hardships.
I take an integrative approach to therapy drawing from psychodynamic and relational approach. I'm also utilizing behavioral and somatic interventions/DBT to help my clients understand the impact of stress on the nervous system. My style is warm and empathetic, while also direct and goal oriented. I try to hold both of those in a safe and approachable manner.
I take joy in helping my clients uncover their unique strengths and approach life with more awareness and ease. If this resonates with you and you’re curious to learn more, I’d love to schedule a call. We can explore if working together could support your goals and help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
