My approach to therapy is providing a space for people to better understand themselves, their past, their relationships, and how it all connects. I help my clients examine their patterns, better understand their life situations, and overcome obstacles to heal and thrive. I approach the therapeutic space as a team to meet your needs and objectives to empower you to attain your therapy goals. Together, we will work to enhance your ability to identify and analyze problems, explore solutions, and deepen your interpersonal relationships.
I draw from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation, often incorporating Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and Structural Family Therapy. I am also a certified supervisor for provisionally licensed clinicians. I am licensed in NJ and NY.
While we can't change the difficult situations that may have impacted your past, we can work together to help you experience a more fulfilling and meaningful life in the present. I work with adolescents/families and adult individuals to help navigate major life transitions, cope with relationship strain and navigate anxiety/depression.
