About
“Life can take you where you least expect it to, and it can throw you for a loop. One of the hardest things to do, is to reach out and ask for help, but it is also the most courageous thing to do. As a therapist, I work collaboratively with people to develop a life plan that will promote their life satisfaction. I believe each individual is unique and it is important to develop a safe therapeutic relationship to work together on your desired life goals" Shelly Coufal, MA, LPC, NCC
My educational background and professional experience have prepared me to work with a diverse population. I have work experience with negative past/present experiences, interpersonal relationships, grief, depression, PTSD, Bipolar, anxiety, trauma and other mental health concerns. I have continued education in EMDR and Sandtray therapy.
We begin by working together to identify current stressors, then we will create a plan that incorporates your strengths, your beliefs, and desires. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your life goals.
