Every person has a unique story and with that can come unique difficulties and challenges in life. During those times, finding someone that can be supportive and reliable can be a struggle. It is important to me for my clients to feel that they are heard, accepted, and understood. I strive to be genuine and direct in working towards your goals.
I specialize with individuals navigating: anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, self harm, suicidal ideations, trauma, & life transitions. While I work especially well with teens through individuals in their 30s, I welcome clients of all backgrounds and stages of life.
I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the complexities of life. I practice from a person-centered, supportive lens—believing that each client is the expert of their own life. My clinical experience includes working with individuals facing addiction, as well as those managing symptoms of anxiety and depression.
I became a therapist because I understand that life can have different challenges. Having a space for my clients to feel comfortable and speak freely without judgement is important to me.
I provide therapy both in-person at my Abingdon office for local clients AND online via telehealth for individuals located anywhere in Virginia.
