About
A comprehensive evaluation is often the first step in helping to understand an individual's difficulties, cognitive profile and learning differences. Working for years in ADHD clinics and neurodevelopmental centers has fostered my expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment recommendations for various cognitive, behavioral and emotional disorders in children and adults. I also have expertise in assessing the neurocognitive effects of chronic Lyme disease and fetal alcohol syndrome. All therapy and testing services are currently provided via telehealth.
Although I have extensive expertise in pediatrics, with knowledge of special education criteria, I offer comprehensive neuropsychological and psycho-educational evaluations for all ages. Evaluations via telehealth are not recommended for children under the age of 8 years. Psychotherapy via telehealth is offered for ages 16 and older.
My services include comprehensive neuropsychological and psycho-educational evaluations (including projective measures when needed), consultation to parents, schools, and treatment providers, screenings for adult ADHD, and baseline neuro-cognitive screenings for individuals with a family history of Alzheimer's or other neuro-degenerative disorders. I also offer Cogmed Working Memory Training and counseling for adults.
