I have a variety of experience in my background which includes serving as a police officer for 21 y, and also serving in the military. My primary focus is working with adults specifically dealing with LGBTQ treatment, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, trauma, and managing relationships.

From a theoretical standpoint I integrate a variety of treatment approaches to best meet the unique needs of each client such EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.

I often use Internal Family Systems Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and discuss what your goals are in counseling. With IFS, we'll explore how you can learn to get to know yourself better. For example, people will often say you need to learn to love yourself first..so how do you do that? That is where IFS therapy can help you do that.
