About
I am a Licensed Educational Psychologist specializing in assessment of psychological disorders that interfere with learning & school success. My assessments are designed to provide diagnostic clarification and recommendations based on your referral concerns. These may include Learning Disabilities, such as Dyslexia and Dysgraphia, ADHD & Anxiety Disorders. To do this, I focus on uncovering cognitive, academic & processing strengths & weaknesses to better understand your child's functioning. From the assessment findings, I provide practical and individualized intervention recommendations that reflect your child's learning needs.
My years of experience working both within public school systems & in private practice setting has well prepared me in identifying important information needed by your child’s school team and/or pediatrician. I will collaboratively work with you to help achieve the best outcome for your child’s unique needs to guide intervention planning & decision making.
As an LEP, I am passionate about empowering students to understand their own learning profile in order to ultimately advocate for themselves & seek warranted support. In part, I am drawn from my experience of teaching a "success" course to college students who learned the skills to develop a growth mindset & the tools necessary to become a lifelong learner.
