My background balances research-driven and scientifically minded psychology with a holistic, systemic, and presence-based approach to therapy. I use this background to help my clients expand their understanding of self by tuning in to the notes of their experience they may not be used to hearing. For some that may look like guiding a highly cognitive person into their emotional world, and for others that may look like guiding a highly emotive person into a new way of thinking. But whatever patterns you find yourself in, I can be a guide in expanding your range. Visit my website to learn more about me, and see if I'd be a good fit.

I specialize in anxiety. The clients I see typically fall within the (admittedly vast) range of "I'm mostly okay, just feel anxious about a couple of things" to the "My anxiety is so debilitating I must address it immediately." If you are concerned about your anxiety, reach out. I offer a free full session consult so we can get to know each other.

My style seeks to deepen your understanding of self to reduce the suffering that's brought you here. My tools are an educational background in neuropsychology combined with compassion and a sense of humor. Visit my website to learn more about what I can offer you.

Shelley Green's Groups

Family Heroine: Women Healing Attachment Wounds

Group is for daughters of mothers with mental illness and co-dependency. "Hero" archetype in family: achiever, fixer, caretaker, the responsible one, attuned to family (and others') needs. We work to build and maintain connected relationships while recovering from complex, attachment- based trauma. Take interpersonal risks. Speak one's own truth. Build and maintain boundaries. Regulate anxiety in relationship settings. Give self permission to have needs & trust others to have capacity to hold/meet those needs. Group is "process" oriented, meaning it works with the psychological material present in the group itself to create learning experiences.
