I specialize in helping you work through traumatic events, both big or small that have left you feeling shattered or overwhelmed. Trauma can include events that happened long ago or recently. Also, as a Certified Sexual Addiction therapist I assist female sex and love addicts or treat partners of those who are addicted to porn or sex. Working from a Christian worldview I help clients understand themselves better and develop better coping strategies. If you are depressed or dealing with painful anxiety I help you heal from past wounds and gain self confidence and a new more helpful perspective.
Couples: I work with couples to identify any unhealthy patterns, learn skills to communicate better, resolve conflict, deepen trust and rekindle passion. I have experience working with couples who have experienced infidelity and sexual addiction. I specialize in bringing healing to the trauma partners of sex addicts often experience.
I offer two types of counseling: Short-term intervention provides support, skill building, and immediate shifts in perspective, coping strategies and change. Long-term intervention involves examining deeper issues, working through these hurts and wounds and then integrating healing into your current day to day functioning.
